Often asked questions:

- Where and when is this?
We were supposed to start in september 2016 fromsouth of France but because it's so hard to plan something with travelers, we have to postpone this. We're curently discusting this on the forum.


- How much does it cost?
It depends when you subscribe. For the moment subscribtion are free, but you have to be active into the building process. Later on we will set a certain amount growing with time so if you decide yourself at the last minute you'll have to pay more than if you make your mind quickly. In the same kind of logic if you cancel your subscription you'll get a certain amount of your money back depending how long we had to save your seat and how close to the starting date we are.
The rest depends on how much you want to spend in your everyday life. We'll recycle food, eat from the nature and make shows to earn some money to invest in equipements or gas if we have vehicules (we'll decide together how we'll spend the money of course!). We want you to have the possibility to live for free but we'll also make sure everyone has time to make streetmusic, junggling etc to make some pocket money as well. :)


-Who's coming?
Well, not everybody like to expose its life on the internet, its pictures, its name, hobbies etc... But we and all the people who contacted us so far are kind of made the same: very curious about every part of life, and everyone did studied a lot of different things, sometimes all by themselves, sometimes through studies. They all do arts, they all are amazed by science, they all would like to understand more about humanity, they all like to develloppe themselves and wah, so many amazing people together! It sounds like a plan with infini possibilities!


- How can I join?
We don't want to be too many people. This way the courses can be better, we won't have too many troubles finding places to stay and it will be easier to organize things. We choosed to limit our number up to 15 for the first times of the caravan, with people who plan to really give it a try and plan to stay for a long time (6 month, one year, more?) in order to have a good start. We'll be happy to welcome some free-electrons later on, once we found our balance.

If you want to be part of the caravan, let's say as a proton, you can come directly to the meeting point but you won't be an 100% sure we'll still have space for you unless you alreday take part by writting regulary in the forum to build the project with us:  nomadschool.forumactif.com (don't forget to introduce yourself of course!)


-What is "Nomad School" or "l'école buissonnière" ?
The old names of the project. Nomad school was sounding like we were giving courses to children or teaching "outsiders", but even if we plan to do some workshops around, we're mostly studying together, teaching each others. L'école buissonnière means "bush school", it's when you don't go to school to hang around instead. But it was in french so not everyone could enjoy the joke.


- Where is this idea coming from?
My nickname is Kalima, I wanted to study a lot of things but didn't want to stop travelling so I made up this concept (and later learnt it has been already done in the past!). I'll do the anatomy and the dance classes. I'm the one who wrote this blog, made the forum and who answers when you write us an e-mail, but I'm not a leader ( Anarchia! \o/ ). I truely want to co-build this project with people who resonate with its idea, that's why every decision is submit to the people by the forum and by mail. I'm quite a shy person actualy, so if you're blocking in front of a white page when you write, think that I'll be just the same when I'll answer, maybe it will help you being more confident!
